...So it took me about 4 hours but I read every one of these 179 pages of posts haha.

Now now thanks to all of the lovely hair cuts and dye jobs, I just told my husband I will be cutting and dying my hair tonight...

My hair is currently mousy brown, shoulder length with some long layers and slightly grown out Betty bangs (which I want slightly side swept...)

Me now(actually like 2 months ago, but nothing has changed color-wise, just longer hair::

Me want::

People say I look like a young Winona Ryder, thus I looked at pictures of her and love this cut... not sure if I should tackle myself. I cut my bangs myself before, but never like this...
Also, thinking about putting a purple color added into the bangs.

I just changed my hair! A friend of mine cut my hair and I colored it.

I wanted something funky and different, something I have never had before, and I love it!

Yeah I've done that.

I was hoping for some more specific advice.

I got my hair parchment white with blue shampoo. Keep on using it. Also, when toning don't use a developer that opens your cuticle, 20 is WAY to high to tone! I bet that's why it washed out, your cuticle is blown open and you keep trying with the overly harsh chemicals. I know this is a do it yourself thread, but sometimes it is a good idea to at least talk to a professional about some procedures. I mean, it is your hair, and no one looks good with a chemical cut! good luck!

Just found this thread, and while I don't have the patience to read 179 pages of post, from up to four years ago Sad, I love my hair so much I just had to share.
It is a bit longer now, this photo was from October last year, but I love it because it was from a big professional shoot.

This is a small, badly taken, against the light, photo I took the other day.

I'll like it better when it calms down & fades out a bit. Pretty intense!

Silvermoon... your purple is all kinds of pretty! The glamour shot is neato, but the kid hug is priceless!  Wink
