I agree with everyone that this is beautiful!  Also, I remember my grandmother had something similar.  It was a tree but it was in little pot instead of a rock.  Where did you learn how to do this?  Thanks!

I was very lucky one of the older ladies at my rock club makes them and gave us all a class, its only the 2nd time she has shared her skill in this so I was lucky to be there that day.

thankyou everyone. wow a you rock, i never had one before, thankyou!!
I did this at my local lapidary club so i dont have inprogress photos.
I will think to do that with then next one.

I will get another one done soon.
Distracted by sewing this  month gone.

Ooh, please please do show us your cherry blossom tree when it's done!  (Or better yet, while it's in progress as well....)  I'm obsessed with cherry blossoms and would love to see it!
