Hello,

Ive just moved up to Liverpool and am a little bit bored!!! (god bless unemployment...or not)

Just wondered if there was any craft groups around, or anyone willing to join one? I mostly knit but do sewing (badly) and embroidery. I know theres a stitch n bitch on Smithdown Road in Wavertree but I live smack in the middle of the city centre and its a bit of a trek.

Any suggestions please let me know. xxxx

Hiya,

I live in Liverpool (in Aigburth) and would definitely be interested in some sort of craft group.  I mainly crochet, make jewellery and do general crafty things but would really, really like to get into sewing.  I got a sewing machine last year and so far all I have managed to make is cushions...lots and lots of cushions.  I also knit a little and have been intending to get round to going to the Smithdown Road Stitch n Bitch for ages but it's a bit of a slog on the bus for me after work....although now it's getting to summer and light evenings I am feeling more inclined to make the trek!  There also used to be a knit group in Cafe Nero in the city centre every Thursday evening which if it's still going would be perfect for you.

Like I said, definitely interested in crafty gatherings of most kinds so maybe if we can get a few more Liverpool crafters on here we can try sort something out! x

I'm moving to Liverpool in a couple of months and don't know many people in the city, it would be great to meet some fellow Craftsters! I mainly knit, but want to learn how to sew too. xx
