Hey, a guy NEEDS something to read while taking care of business in the bathroom. So I made (yeah for myself) a magazine holder in the bathroom. It is conveniently located just below eye level while sitting on the throne directly in front of you. And it holds my favorite magazine. Actually, it is holding about 5 at the moment. lol. But I like to have options. Enjoy and don't forget to check out my other posts.

Hey, those cubbies are neat!  I've always wanted one of those.  It looks a lot classier than all the other options.  And maxim has some good articles and features sometimes (my hub got his brother a 5 year subscription or some garbage on e bay)

Much nicer then our bathroom reading holder, ours is a very unexciting folder holder that you'd hang on the wall of an office. Which I had to buy for my Hubby, I really don't get why men can't just go and use the bathroom without entertainment, oh well. Very good job on your cubby.

You know, it's not just men who enjoy a little bit of reading material while thinking in the bathroom....  Grin

That being said, I need one of those...

hey think of the beading magazines or the sewing books in there! I like this but I'm not sure that I understand what the cubby is. Is it actually something you can buy at home depot?

I'm not sure. I have heard it referred to as a cubby a few times. As for me, I just built a large picture frame, added a bottom piece for the magazine to rest on and added the front piece to keep them from falling out. I thought it looked good and is totally functional. I'm sure someone sells something similar somewhere, but this one is all mine.

Ah ha!  I see what yours is, upon further inspection of your picture.  I thought it was a hole in the wall.

My aunt's house has one, but it's a recess into the wall inbetween the studs I suppose.
