My mom was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.
My cousin made her this.  I think it's great!

Gorgeous!  I only wish I'd seen this pattern a few years ago when my radical stencilling buddy was dying of cancer.

It's kind of odd having a pattern set aside for next time someone you know gets cancer.  But I know it would cheer me up if it was me!

Nice stitching!

First off, I hope your mom beats the cancer. My understanding is that colon cancer is beatable.

I love the cross-stitch pattern! My dad and sister both died of cancer, so I could look at this every day and feel that it's relevant, always.

Cute little pink bunnies in there, too.  Smiley

I have to agree!  I hope your mom kicks bootie!   My dad had invasive colon cancer, and beat it!  She can totally do it!  And, I hope that you are okay too.  I ran up and down the 10 flights of stairs in the hospital constantly.  So, do what you need to.

Second of all, that is freakin awesome, and your cousin rocks.  I have to agree!  F**k it and beat it!  And live on!

Word... I couldn't agree more. I really hope it will make her smile.

I wish you and your family all the best in these hard times. Remember that nothing is unbeatable!

I am very sorry to hear you mum has cancer. My aunt had it and she is absolutely fine now. The key is to ignore it and continue living as normal.
Great stitching!!!
