Hey guys!  This is my first stenciling adventure because there is nothing better to do during spring break than to geek out.  Grin

L2R:
Blue - Shirt for my mom with the TARDIS on the front of it.  I got the stencil from http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/art/howto/tshirts/materials.shtml.

Brown: My shirt.  The quote says "You could be squids for all I know!  A two squid transporter.  I reset the coordinates.  To the center of the sun.  It shouldn't be hot, I mean we sent her there at night and everything."  (From Season 1, Episode 7 of Torchwood).  It takes up most of the back.

The white piece of cloth was my tester piece, but I might make it into something.  Any ideas?

What do you guys think?  All feedback greatly appreciated.

Valentine: You're hurt. Wait here.
Helena: What about you?
Valentine: Oh, I'm a panther. I shall slip unnoticed through the darkness... like a dark, unnoticeable slippy thing.
Hope.

I love this! I have to make myself one.

The above comment with 'Fantastic!' actually made me laugh out loud.

I have worn the Torchwood one out.  Nobody gets it, or if they do, they don't mention anything.  But then again a select few may actually understand the explanation when they ask.  Torchwood isn't really big around these parts.  *mumbles something about American TV being stupid*

I think the best reaction I've gotten was this past Sunday.  I was working on a group project and I was writing on the chalkboard.  It took me a while to get everything organized on the board, so I said "Boy am I glad I wore an interesting shirt for you guys today."  And one of them goes "Why would you want to send squids to the center of the sun?  They're awesome!  Squid-killer!"

Boys @ 9:30 AM on a Sunday are still boys trying to save some squids.
