This was my first attempt at sewing and I couldn't find the "really sucky sewer" thread, so I'm posting it here since it is, after all, a needle roll for my knitting sticks!



Of course this is not all of my needles. It's only what I had on hand at my friend's house.  The flap is open but the deck and the flap are both brown.  It's kind of a Where's Waldo with the fabric.



And here's my friend Lissa who let me kill use her sewing machine. She is holding a "tax thread" crocheted tote she made on our "craft day."  She literally had hundreds of 10" string that was used to bundle the tax forms and tied them in knots together then crocheted this sucker.  Anyway, inside you can see my awesome needle roll  Wink

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

i think it's lovely!!

i don't sew, but my mother and grandmother do, so i've seen it all my life. and i think you did a great job.

would you be willing to make another one for a personal swap, perhaps  Roll Eyes  Wink

I'm looking for inspiration to make a needle roll. i'#ve got a really old leather wallet type thing that i just know is going to fall apart in the next few months.
