ok so I've been doing my daily blog read and found that there is a movement of writting letters going on... you know letters those things written on paper in an envelope? well Being crafty... I love to send things I make to other people... but I was wondering if anyone would be up for crafting an object (TBD) and writing a letter to thier partner... The letter could be about anything a story, how you made your project... whatever. Any one up for it?

Here are some links to where I read about them...

that could be fun.  i usually write a letter to include in my swaps, anyway, but it'd be nice to incorporate that into the swap.

i care about you a homemade oven mitt's worth.

What if we did it more as a way to get a new pen pal?  The organizer could match people up according to interests, and the swap would be a letter (like you would normally send to a new pal) and a small craft.  After that, it would be up to the partners to decide whether or not to continue correspondence.  This might also work better round-robin style.

Anyway, just a thought.  Smiley

Yeah i would be up for this, Will it be a quick thing? Like those ones where you get your pal on monday and send out on friday? Cos that would be fun. Also you could make a 'friendship' craft like a bracelet or ATC or altered friendship book or something as the 'craft' part.  Smiley

I'd love to do it if it were leaning more towards a pen-pal sort of thing with a small craft and have us matched up according to interests. Smiley

Letters?  Mail?  I thought mail was only good for greeting cards, swap packages, bills, and junk mail...  Tongue

I might be up for this.  A small craft and a letter to go with it?  I'm getting ideas... Smiley

This sounds right up my alley, particularly if it leans toward making new penpals.  If I can swing it when it happens, I'll join.  Smiley

yeah the main reason was for pen pals... but I won't be able to organize it so someone else would have to
