I recently got back from an extended trip to NZ and am thinking about doing my REcreate Designs business full time this summer. I am hoping to get a few leads on some "cool" craft shows that are more hip the homey. I know about the Art vs Craft and the Clement Ave School shows... any other ones out there yet?  Looking into being a "street vendor" at the Madison Farmers market.  Any help would be appreciated  Smiley

It is good to be back and creating, well after I unpack everything and set up the studio again.

Welcome home!

A few more shows around the area are Renegade (www.renegadecraftfair.com) and Naomi and I are planning another Craftacular at the High Noon Saloon, so watch the Glitter Workshop (www.glitterworkshop.com) website for more info.  It will be in June, we are working on setting the date now.

If you want to be a street vendor, contact Warren Hansen.  He is the street vending coordinator for Madison and can set you up and talk you through all the necessary stuff you need to do to get the licenses.  He is awesome and helped me through all the paperwork last year, now this year was a breeze to get set up.  You can e-mail him at whansen@cityofmadison.com
