Where to buy roving: Sheep Shed Studio testimonials

Jane, when I was still modding I split the thread into two separate threads. This one is only about Sheep Shed and a LOT of the posts are just off topic chatter. You can go through and delete posts if youd like, but everything here is mostly "i bought my wool from SSS today!" or "my wool came today!"

Sheep shed roving has great prices but to ship it to Canada costs $20 or more for 1/2lb to 1lb. Sadly, I'll need to look somewhere else.

Just thought I would chime in on the Sheep Shed Studio Bandwagon. I got interested in Spinning about 9 months ago when I joined the Spring Fiber Swap. I have been hoarding my fiber until I could get a wheel. I am getting a used wheel from my In-Laws for Christmas, and wanted to have a bunch of fiber on hand to practice with, without using up all my pretty roving. My mom order from Carol and I got the 10 pound Funky Fiber Grab Bag, and 5 pounds of white mill end roving. My little extra gift is some GORGEOUS gold/blue/red Superwash at about 40 grams. I don't know how Carol packed it all into one box but as soon as I split the tape on the box it started expanding. I can't fit it back in the box, and I am sooo excited to get to work and can't wait to get my wheel. Shipping was pretty quick for Parcel Post and I appreaciated the added bonus Fiber. I will definately order from SSS again!
