somebody on page six said something about being an enabler.  Is it strange that everyone who reads this post immediately goes and buys multiple pounds of wool???  I ordered three.  cant wait!

Hahaha, I think this is true, although being based in Germany I am going to order some goodies this week (thanks to a extremely kind person with an army mailbox).... especially the superwash has me fascinated!

Now she can't do without it. Twenty balls of wool a day, sometimes. If she can't get the wool she gets violent. What can we do about it?"

I got the fiber yesterday. The rich lanolin smell alone is enough to make me totally love it.

i have been wanting to order for a while from them, and after FINALLY getting the money, i'm super excited to say, i also ordered the black/white color way, but i HAD to limit myself to one pound, because in the past couple of weeks alone, i have probably bought 5 pounds of wool!!!! i can't believe it, it's the most i've every purchased, but i'm SUPER excited to get this stuff in, i'm sure it's going to be just amazing!!!

and i'm looking forward to ordering some of their other stuff in the near future!!!

Is it horrible that I've only been spinning for 2 weeks but I just bought 3 lbs of wool too?

I went for a lb of white and a lb of the black/white mix, plus a lb of their superwash mix.  I still can't complain about 12.50/lb for a superwash.

Looking forward to it, I'm really gonna get a good amount of use out of this little drop spindle!

this may be a silly question, but are the mill end rovings ready to spin or do they need to be carded or prepared or something?  and when i say ready to spin, i mean on a drop spindle!  i am a beginner spinner and i am only 16, so this seems like a great cheap option for me, but i want to make sure i am getting the right stuff!

thanks!

They're ready to go! sometimes they need a bit of fluffing (like just pulling them apart just a bit) but I've always found them to be great. Are the just like they sound. The ends of the roving, or bits that have come apart from the rest I guess. So they're not one continuous rope of roving, they are several different lengths. Really no big when you're spinning. I personally love her roving!
