Ugh I couldn't order and missed the superwash/nylon roving.  Hopefully they will get more in sometime.  Sad

I love Carol!

I got my white superwash from her that I made my rainbow coat out of that I posted a photo of last week.

Great stuff- if it were not for these good prices, I would not have much to spin, that is for sure!

I tend to like super wash- my family is too flighty -- I am afraid they will stick it in the dryer or washer and not ask me if I make something.

well, ive spun up the prettiness carol included in my box of the nylon//superwash, and its gorgeous, i havent weighed it cause i dont have a tiny scale, but im thinking it was about four onces, which ended up being 171 yards of worsted weight navajo plyed gloriousness.  now im making myself the glastig hat from anticraft.  eventually when i remember to charge the camera battery ill post pictures of her gorgeous handdyed.

How much is two pounds of fiber? Not in weight but like how big is a box with that much in it?
I'm getting ready to make my first purchase and hubby is a bit concerned on how much that will be to store.

it expands a bit in the box, but you can roll it up and its not too large.

I kind of figured but hubby asked. Smiley He was like "Can someone take a pic of 2 pounds of roving?"
I said I'd try to find out.
Do they use like standard sizes of boxes? if so perhaps I can figure that out.

2# of roving will be about half a pillowcase or so

Tried to post a pic, but I'm new here.

Okay, got enough posts in to post a picture ...

Tell DH that 2# of roving is NOT this
