My brand new Mr. Darcy shirt did not like the washing machine!  Cry
The picture cot all wrinkled and torn Cry

That has never happened before with iron-on transferred things

on a more positive note; two of the fabulous stitch markers just got put into a project Smiley

Torrance, I am sorry about your shirt!  I guess it's the risk we take with crafted things.  At least you have the rest of your great swap package to enjoy!

Saor, enjoy Bath!  I was there a couple years ago, and it was a great trip.  I saw the Costume Museum (right when they had the exhibit on Jane Austen movies, too), the Roman Baths, and the Pump Room.  I would recommend all of those.  The shopping is decent too.

And I got the package from knit_core!  So wonderful!  Pictures are forthcoming.

Don't feel bad, it's not your fault Smiley Besides there's no way I'd stop using the shirt! (one can't let the washing machine win Cheesy)

First you can see the knit clutch, JA wall plaque, journal, booklet of regency card games, stenciled box with two decks of cards, and pin she made:

And here is the lovely neckace with JA charm (I hope I put this on correctly):

Yes, I have that on my wist too!  Knit_core must have seen it.  I'm just not sure how to shorten it.

you need pliers - remove the jump ring at the end of the chain you want to shorten, cut the chain to the length you want and re-attach the jump ring there
when dealing with jump rings it's important to twist them apart otherwise you'll ruin the circle shape
hope that helps

Oooo, love the necklace. The charm is such a nice "insider" touch.
