Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it CJ!
I had trouble posting pictures ofwhat I received, and had to rush out to a girl scout encampment just after opening my box.  I just got back and will try again.

Here's what CJSachiko sent me: Cool

A Jane Austen clock, a crocheted bag, key chain and some great jewelry....tried to get a close-up of the jewelry...but it was a dark, cloudy afternoon so these pictures aren't great.

Thanks CJ!

Uradelight notified me that she received my package last week and I will post pics for her as she has a family illness to deal with.
First I created some JA themed note cards with the sarcastic quotes she requested-

Next I made a JA movie themed "Treasure" box- I felt that Jane Austen's true treasures were her writings so I filled the box with designed writing paper, envelopes and a pen. ( I wanted to make a quill pen and india ink- but I was afraid of spillage of the ink ruining everything!)

Next I made something that was a real challenge to me- a no-sew reticule- I used a beige w/white floral calico for the outside with a white on white pattern of the same fabric for the lining. I really like how it turned out-It's hard to see but there is a lovely lace trim up top that the cord is laced through. Hard to get good pics of white on white!

Totally no-sew! Even the fringe.
Last, but not least, I altered a small tag shaped scrapbook into a salute to JA-this will take a few pics (sorry!)
The new cover-

The pages- Done in the order of the books publication date-
Jane Austen bio page-

Sense & Sensibility

Pride & Predjudice-

Mansfield Park-

Emma-

Persuasion-

I actually had two or three pages for each book/movie- but I figured it would eat the whole thread  if I posted all of them!!
Just a note** I only included the novels that she completed befor e her death- hence no Northanger Abbey, in case you were wondering.
