Ok, I'm sure I'm not the only one making a quilt at the moment, and I'm just about to start.

The quilting board isn't quite as packed as the others, so I thought we could share progress here.

(Not that we'll all be making the same one or anything, just whatever you happen to be making or want to make  Cheesy)

Mine is a football/soccer one with pitch pattern on the front and a black and white hexagon pattern on the back.

i'm just binding off a quilt right now, and i have several others in progress, maybe a quilt along would help me finish up some quilts!

Yay!  I'll join.  I've been seriously procrastinating on Dh's Space wallhanging and would love the encouragement a quilt-a-long would provide!

I found the PERFECT fabric for the backing, but I don't think I bought enough of that same fabric for the binding and I can't find it anymore.  I'm very disappointed about that.

I still need to get DH's input on what designs he wants quilted on it.

yay! so there's a few of us then.

I'm about to start cutting the fabric. I have a new rotary cutter but still can't cut in a straight line, hmm.

Metal, supposedly so I don't cut chunks out of the plastic. I'll buy a proper quilters one tomorrow. The fabric keeps moving is the main problem. I think I just need to get used to it!  Smiley

oooooh! now it sounds like I might need one of those...

My boyfriends 21st birthday present (the quilt) is turning into an excuse for a lot of new stuff. I even keep eyeing up sewing machines  Tongue
