Tutorial Here!=]
spring break! woohoo!
From what ive read, for the majority of you, spring break has already come and gone. Am I right? But today was my first whole day off. I'm so excited for whatevers gonna go down.

Anywho, this is my little welcoming gift to the break:

the skirt, which was originally meant to go just above my knees:
[[check out those dirty pants!]]

The buttons are fully functional and I'm super proud of them. But ahhh the buttonholes themselves are pretty disgusting. I cant figure out how to do them. Grrrr. The skirt stops around my upper thigh, and is yet to be hemmed. It also criss crosses in the back, which I love.

Believe it or not I've been wanting to make one of these since before they got oh so popular.

When I came across this fabric I was reminded of this by helpmetonailyoudown. The whole button up idea was from a jumper I got from Forever 21 for Christmas. So this idea has been lodged in my head for some time now. I'm glad I finally got around to it.

Please excuse my unmade bed. Believe it or not, it actually has sheets, I'm just a crazy sleeper. Both comments and critiscim welcome.

Smiley Happy Easter.

So cute!! The buttons really add a lot to the look. And don't fret about the buttonholes, because you're light years ahead of me by even attempting them! Wink

I love it!

I'm a plus sized girl and it's so hard to find cute clothes that fit or look decent.  I might have to give this a try.

Thanks for the inspiration.  I'll check out the tutorial.
