I would really like to do this- does anyone have any information about flying with your wheel? I am a little scared to check it since the insurance only covers $250.

I asked my instructor how she travels with the wheel and she said she always ships it beforehand to the location.  You could give that a shot.

It looks like such a nifty place. I wish I could attend. As a side note...just a couple days ago I bought roving on etsy from Nikol (of the Harveyville Project)...and all the proceeds from my purchase were going towards the Harveyville Project...which I thought was pretty nifty <3
