does anyone make singles using their drop spindle? How do you set the yarn to stop it turning back to roving? i'm an absolute newbie but would love some help on this! thanks

As the roving is spun, it sticks together. The fibers have tiny little burrs on them, and they latch onto each other.
After you spin the yarn, you need to set the twist. Search for "set twist" on these boards, there are instructions are couple of places on these boards.
