I went on a dyeing binge yesterday, since I got 12 lbs of wool in the mail and 2 lbs of fiber the day before.

Here is what I came up with!

Peeps, 4 oz of Austrailian merino handdyed

Spring Fling, 4 oz of Romney wool handdyed

Ocean Depths, 4 oz of Falkland wool, handdyed

Spring Fling Revisited, 4 oz of merino/tencel blend

All together in their fibery goodness!

I also tried my hand at dyeing silk hankies for the first time.

I can't wait to spin all of these, they are so fun.  Thanks for looking!

I love how bright and spingy these are. Ocean depths is really close to something I'm pre-drafting today. It will be neat to compare the finished products.

Wow! I can't wait to see the neon all spun up also. It would be truly psychadelic if you plyed it with a black single. Can you imagine that? I was wondering what dye you used to get such bright colors?

Freakin' FABULOUS! I love seeing Spring Fling in both merino and mer-ten.

Can somebody please tell me how to braid my roving like that??

Aww thanks for all the compliments!!!!

I am using Jacquard acid dyes for the colors, just mixed up quite heavily.  That link posted about braiding roving is where I learned from too, it is a great way to showcase the fiber and colors!

I unfortunately haven't had any spinning time, due to my house being remodeled, but hopefully soon. I will be sure to post photos!

Thanks again!
