Hi,
I travel to Florida once or twice a year and am hoping that someone has suggestions for cool record stores, bars, crafty stores, etc.  I go away for vacation but I just can't help myself, I simply MUST craft!
Thanks,
Cindy

there are tons of the normal jo-anns, michaels, type places. there's a quilt shop called queen anne's lace in kissimmee that has lots of fabrics and a decent section of art doll patterns, quite a few thrift stores. on weekends independent bar ( i bar) in downtown orlando is pretty rockin and you can always find a show at Will's pub...check out cflrockabilly.com there might be something scheduled...ummm...my hubby's psychobilly band may have a show, or we can find ya something to do...i'll pm ya my #

Orlando, if your into Irish music at all...I'd suggest going to An Tobar. It's a bar that's right next to Ramada Inn towards Maitland. The woodworking of the bar was actually shipped in from Ireland. The bartenders are friendly and the beer is great...good selection:)

If your around the UCF area you should check out Hullabaloo( http://www.hullabaloomusic.com/ ) its an awesome music store, lots of independent music and a very knowlageable staff.

I have been dying to go there! Smiley Never knew anyone who had been! Smiley

There are supposedly several Bead stores in Orlando, although I have yet to visit one, not sure where they are Wink. There are a couple of good Michael's...one by the FL Mall and the other on Kirkman Rd.
