I've been searching for hours now and I can't for the life of me find out how to tie those knots that slide (one on each side) of a cord bracelet/neclace!  Huh Can any of you help me out?
I know it's a dumb question and a third grader can do it, but apparently I'm not as smart as a third grader tonight!  Roll Eyes
I have found a tute here, but tried it but what I ended up with was nothing like I remembered!  Cry
TIA! Kiss

I'm thinking that the way it's done is tie a knot about 3 inches up on one side, then do the same with the other string. then knot the bottom of both strings.

Ick, that's not clear. I don't know how to explain it though. Sad

You just wrap the cord as if it was a bracelet & where the ends overlap you tie a knot around the other cord & then go past that and tie another knot with the other cord.

That makes sense, but what type of knot should I use? The ones I'm remembering were adjustable (the knots slid on the cord).
The other issue is that I am making each bracelet with 2 strands, so will I end up with 4 knots? Is there a way to do it with 2?

the red bits are the new steps. =D

Since you're using two cords, simply take both as one single cord. You'll have to repeat the knot on the other end though.
PM me if it's not clear.
