Ladies--just a quick note- I will catch up on this swap and my emails when I get back this weekend!  Sorry not to be part of the fun but family has got to come first!  Thanks for your understanding!

I have not even had a chance to peek at the new aprons that have been arriving! Cry

Totally understandable!  Do what you need to do and your right, family is always first!  I hope that everything is okay.

WOW!  I just spent the last half hour catching up on just this gallery!

dramageek--I am totally impressed with the striped apron you made!  Stripes can be very challenging--your design is interesting and made good use of the stripes!  I love how it buttons in back! You and hoxierice seemed to be well matched!

RecycleMicol-I love that you experimented and made your own pattern!  The pocket is the cutest thing and the color combo is wonderful!  I also love the little tips you gave--the button for the towel is such a simple idea!! You also thought of a lot of important details about your specific partner--it is like you got into her head--kinda freaky but cool! Wink

Miss_Vicki--The apron you made was exactly as I envisioned!! RM is going to be the envy of all her friends! It fits perfectly and the fabric will disguise a lot of yarn, thread, dirt, etc.!  Love it!

Poo--can't read my own handwriting on the notes I made and my memory is useless so I will be back as soon as I view all the aprons again! Tongue

Well I decided to go ahead and post the pictures of the apron that I sent to SissyRadford.  She received last Monday, but I think she has gotten busy saving the world one piece of fabric at a time in the fabric shop she works in!   Grin

Please ignore the poor image quality, I took these with my camera phone before I sent off.

The Apron:

And a close up of the pocket:

She wanted a half apron for cooking, so hopefully this is what she was looking for!  Thanks for a great swap ladies!  I've really enjoyed it and hopefully there will be a Round 3.

Awwww!  That's precious, rozekitten!  Nice fabric and the lace on the pocket is a really nice touch!  Scallops are always fun!!!

Great job!

OMG I've been under the weather a bit not to mention work is crazy.  ilove everyone's apron. They are all so differnet. I love mine. Haven't had a chance to use it in a cooking setting though. I wear it to craft though keeps the glue off me.  Grin I can't wait to see RM's apron in person you must bring it to the next meeting.
