Okay, here is my Spinning Apron from Miss Vicki!  I am really sorry about the blurry pics!!!  My stepson really needs to take some photography classes!!!   Roll Eyes

Look at the perfection!  She made it just the right length & the width of the bib is spot-on!  Also, check out the way she covered all of the inside seams with bias tape!  So neatly sewn!!!!

Sorry so dark...it's gloomy today!  Here I am pretending to be carding fiber in front of my Majacraft Little Gem 2!

Here is the back:

And the details!  She hand-stitched this cool rainbow yarn around all of the outside seams!  So purtiful!!!

Thanks, Miss Vicki!  I know I'll get years of use out of this!  It's so well-made and full of thoughtful touches!  Especially the part about it being made from a pattern that I just loved when I saw it online!  That was really going out of your way to acquire it!

You rock!
RM

P.S. I'm going to post pics of my OTHER apron she sent for this other swap in a few minutes. (Perfect PMS apron, gals!!!  Room to let it all 'hang out'!) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=159132.new;topicseen#new

I'll replace the crummy photos with better ones once my husband gets home.  Like I said...it's gloomy today! In fact, my kids and I had to take shelter in my closet today!  Tornado sirens going off for about half an hour and stuff.  One touched down just to the west of us.  No one was hurt that I know of.  What's funny is, after grabbing the kids, I ran and got my spinning wheel!  Thank goodness it's such a little thing!!!  It fit in our walk-in closet with us all without any problem!

Later!

eek RM, tornadoes?? I can just see myself now hauling my 3 bins of yarn into the bathroom for cover.

Well GatsbyGirl had asked that I post pics of the apron I sent to her (somewhere much earlier in this thread). I finally got my camera back for my bf so here's a few:

Close up of fabric:

I was so sad, I went back to get more fabric for me and they had no more!

Yes, that happens a lot in our area.  (tornadic activity)  Last time I grabbed the ATCs I had just made for a swap! Hhahahaha!

That's too bad about that fabric!  I know that if you really want it, you can find it again online somewhere!  You might not get it for the same price, but you can look!  Sometimes they have it at a better price, but then you pay for shipping!  I guess it depends on how badly you want it!

That apron is really sweet caflygrl!

Good luck!

OK, several days ago I received my apron from dramageek and here it is! Yes, another apron that is a work of art and almost a dress....if the skirt went all the way around the back.

Fun stripes going every which way including striped piping that looks like candy and wonderful striped covered buttons in the back.

Ooooh!!!  Those are all so cute and very awesome.

I don't even spin and I think that your apron is fabulous Ms. Micol.  BTW you must be right by me, because I was watching those tornados on my laptop.  I'm in the middle of FW.  Hospital district.  Congrats on the apron though.

The fabric on the cherry apron is wonderful, and I adore the lovely details.

I have to agree that the striped one is a work of art.  You are amazing for making those stripes meet up the way that they do.  It is just perfect.

P.S.  I know that I said I would deliver pics today, but unfortunately I only have a camera phone at the present.  Tornados and crummy camera phones don't mix.  It will have to be tommorrow.
