these are the stools I reupholstered. They had turquoise plastic and a ton of duct tape and were very ugly but the frames were in fabulous shape. They swivel too.

This is the bar that I redid the 4 stools to match. I sewed the silver and red vinyl together and stapled it all on on the inside then stuck a decal on it.
The whole set turned out really great

Wow! I'm impressed! Looks like something out of Disneyworld (and I mean that in the most praiseworthy way!).

thank you! The bar was atually the easiest thing I've done yet cause it's so big. But some of the 50's chairs with big wing backs can be murder! My arms ache after those ones for a while. But it is fun to see the transformation. I just never remember to get a picture of the before!  Huh

Those are AMAZING! I absolutely love bar stools, and yours are so well done. Was the red vinyl expensive? They seriously look like you swiped them out of a diner. Awesome job!

thank you- I didn't have to pay for the red glitter vinyl so I'm not sure how expensive it was. I just had to the work part of it. But I know it did come from the US. I think she found it on the  internet somewhere.

For some strange reason, looking at that red vinyl made me happy like nothing else can. It's like candy!  Tongue

oh wow thank you every one! They did turn out great and I was pretty proud of the fact that I found them for ten bucks each and recognized a jewel waiting to be realized. But they were pretty ugly! Now every time I go somewhere I am looking at people's garbage in the lanes or whatever! It's becoming an illness and my husband is concerned!  Cheesy
