Great sunhats! I would like to make one for my mom for Mother's Day, but don't know how. Any patterns would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I got my hat from yarnhag today, and it's awesome!

Not only did I get a fabulous crocheted sunhat, I got 4 interchangable bands to wear on it: an amazing band of crocheted flowers, competing for "favorite" status with the creepy crawlies on a sparkly gold ribbon, and 2 fringed scarves to wrap around when I need to be a bit more "serious." So here they are!

The fantastic hat!

The amazing bands!

The imitation action shot (which doesn't do the hat justice- it looks way better on- and I didn't wrap it up well):

I really love it and I'm wearing it on Friday. Thanks so much yarnhag (and thanks for organizing such a fun swap!).

I've got action shots!  Here:

The first one I made was too small -- but is now Sweet Pea's "buttercup hat".  The second one was much better, and I'm modelling it next to the wee one.

Here is the buggy band.  My kid just loved it.  I may have to make her some buggy goodness when I can get to the city and buy some more plastic bugs.

I've just got to share with you a sunhat I made for myself -- I love hats!  That is, I hate the sun in my eyes and my hair blowing around...
