I am a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft. So, I bought this here hat online:

I got said hat and I don't really like it. It doesn't fit right, I don't like the brass eyelets, or the strap or anything! ANyway, I don't really want the hat, but I do like the embroidery on the front. I'm going to cut it out!

What do you guys suggest I do with it? I was thinking of getting a black button down shirt and putting it on the left breast and then embroidering my name above it. Kind of like a work shirt.

Anybody have any better suggestions?  Huh

Why is there a scrolly bar at the bottom of my post here? Anyone else see it?  Sad

Hi

it's cos your link is too big Smiley

As for the hat.... er, I'm not sure really. I don't suppose you'll get much fabric around the logo, and the material is probablytoo thick for sewing into a flimsy t-shirt or something. But perhaps it could be used in reconning a box/book or something?

There, I added the pic to my website, so no more horribly long link.

I think I'd like it to be something I could wear or add it to something fabric, as opposed to a book or a box.

The fabric on the hat is pretty pliable and thin, it's made out of cotton and all. I think I might just try the shirt idea with a heavy duty cotton work shirt. They are about the same thickness as the fabric on this hat here.

Thanks for the ideas though.
