Wow - that came out exceptionally gorgeous Samsara - I have seen them about and not raised an eyebrow to them but that is quite impressive.
My husband used to braid - I mean plait - my hair when it was butt length - he used to braid a mean 4 strand braid - I think a 4 strand would look amazing with those rapunzel scarves.  Very interesting!

I am glad to have been able to add to your twistedness!

Your amigurimis and skull cloths are fantabulous xladyluckx. You made out like a bandit.

Which totally reminds me that I haven't posted my swap goodies from kyou this round either. Ack! I received a ninja amigurimi too, but will definitely take a picture of the awesome arm warmers she knitted me this weekend and post.

I am SO spoiled!!  I was chosen by the lovely Hertrigger not once, but TWICE!!

First claim, she wanted to make me some art for my walls - and since my whole home is getting revamped (I have a craft room, can you imagine that?) - check out what she made me!!

In case you can't tell, 1 of the roses is detailed with tiny seed beads, another 2 are deluxed with sequins and sparklies, and then there are some individual sequins, held on with a seed bead.  I can only IMAGINE the work that went into this, and i'm truly humbled that Hertrigger put all that time and effort into something for....... ME!  She also sent me the extra fabric, so i can make something else with it - how cool is that?

then there was the second claim.  I'm terrified of the whole kool aid dying thing - i'm going to make a mess, the cat will end up purple, and i'll have to replace all the flooring before they let us move out of this apartment.  So Hertigger is helping me get over this - check it out - not only 2 full skeins of yarn for dying, I have a whole assortment of Kool aid... and then for variety, some Wilton dye (which I'm going to try either tonight or tomorrow!), and then, if i really need more ideas, FOUR colors of RIT  dye as well!  Thoughtful as ever, she included a baster so I can just do portions with colors (how did you know i didn't have one?), gloves, instructions.......

OH, and then there was a skully pocket mirror (lower left, pink background with skulls) (did you make that?  i love it!).... 3 mickey mouse cartoon pins (which are on my mickey purse as I type this), a mini notebook (great for when i need to pick something up from work, now i won't forget things!) and a beauitiful ATC card... now i don't know that i'm a fan of ATCs, but this one is beautiful, and I have a box that is begging for decoupage!... Van, did I leave anything out?  I sure hope not!

Van, thank you so much - this was way more than I could have hoped for, and I totally understand the 1 project taking so long..... i'm speechless that you went to so much work on account of me..... and i thank you.  The picture is already hanging in my craft room!
