Thanks! hopefully I won't get lost or go the wrong way trying to find it. Is it far down that road or is it near the end by the Main gate? sry for so many questions but I am trying to see if it would be easier to walk or drive since I know parking on that street is pretty limited.

The white pole road isn't that long - it should be an easy walk to the fabric shop. It is the one and only fabric shop on the left side of the road - in the direction of Max value. The owners are Japanese - so a lot of sign language maybe needed. Fabric here is sold by the meter - (sometimes even by the 10th of a meter = 10 cm lengths depending on the store).

If you need a wider selection - HAchinohe is a better choice. Like I mentioned earlier - if you have not done the Friday tour to Hachinohe - it would be a good idea to go as the Japanese guides there are very helpful.
