I made my own version of the Hershey Chocolate Kiss rose, http://www.wedcraft.com/kissfavor.html using an Easter egg instead of kisses and spearmint leaves instead of silk leaves.

I am teaching this to 11 & 12 year old girls tonight, we only have very limited time so I made up as much as I could without putting the whole thing together.  All the girls have to do is to attach the egg and leaves to the stem, then use floral tape to cover.

Update, the girls enjoyed making these.  We were supposed to have 8 girls but only 4 came tonight, which meant they were able to make 2.  They needed help with the first but were able to do the second on their own.

No, I used a foil wrapped chocolate egg.  Had to buy a couple of packs of 20 eggs so I could get enough red wrapped ones, didn't think blue or green roses would look great.

Oh and I didn't use cellophane I just used kitchen plastic wrap to wrap egg and leaves.
