My school caretaker has retired after having a stroke a few months back. I'll miss him terribly, he was the best janitor a school could have, for the past six years he's been so helpful and we'd always be talking about Harry Potter! He's Harry Potter mad, and we call him Hagrid because he's a big fella and he's warm and friendly just like Hagrid.. who's also a caretaker, well gamekeeper, but they have the same duties! He slightly resembles him too, minus the massive shaggy beard and hair.

I don't want to make him anything janitor-ish, those days are behind him. Any ideas people? Harry Potter related stuff is what I'm hoping for! Thanks! Smiley

What is your particular crafting forte? For example, if you like to stencil or paint, maybe you could make a tote bag for his Harry Potter books with some sort of Harry Potter image on it. Also, I know there have been Harry Potter swaps in the past, so maybe you could go through their galleries for inspiration. Anyways, good luck, I am sure you will think of something.

What about something dragon themed?  They were Hagrid's favourites.
