My purse. It's been finished and in use for two weeks now. I even got a choclate stain on it already  Sad. It's comfortable and roomy. The strap is wide enough to make it light to carry even when I have an A4-folder in it or books.

I wasn't fully consentrating while making it so there are some mistakes and stuff, but I'm happy with the result anyway  Cheesy.

It only took me four years to make this bag (from the original idea)... Grin

Hey Chirel that's a cool bag. Everyone elses too!

Mine has deviated from my original plan and after a monster coupla weeks I have finally finished. It's heading out the door as a christmas present for a friend...

It turned out a bit bigger than I had orginally planned, but it will fit lots of knitting supplies in it.

Am looking forward to embroidery now...

Chirel, where did you get that fabric? Is it a vintage something-or-other? I love it!

The one with geometric patterns? I wove it myself  Smiley some years ago. Thanks for the compliment.

Ladies I've been off on my own planet but I have loved watching all the purses get posted one by one. This is sooo much fun. Everyone has done a really nice job & the variety in styles is really cool. Thanks for keeping me excited about crafting during this emotional rollercoaster time of year. (*Now should I break into a chorus of Wind Beneath my Wings or just stop here?*)

I finally remembered to take a picture of my purse. It has a zipper, the inside is bright stripes on seersucker with a pocket on either side.

It is all full of my crap, that is why it looks all lumpy Grin

Ok so I made this bag last night....

But I guess that was in October so it doesn't count... oops.

I've made lots of purses and tote type bags in the past... I want to try something new. Anyone have any suggestions for a new experiment in purse making? Like a new pattern/technique... something? Let me know!

I LOVE THAT PURSE!!! That is so cute! I have been making them without the flap that you have on yours. So I will have to try that design. Great job!
