Well, I have still been busily making my little gloves for my store. Thought I would pop by with a small batch to show off.

This first pair is Size 10 cotton crochet thread and clear glass seed beads. Lots and lots of little seed beads.. Drove me CRAZY but I think it was worth it.

(I love modeling my creations. Can you tell?)

I call this next pair "Turquiose Temptation". I was originally going to put a ribbon or something around the wrist but I just did a stripe and called it a day. Made of Lion Brand Micro Spun. I love how soft this yarn is!

I had to go a red and black set, because I love how red and black looks together. I like to call this pair the "Red Darts" set because of the triple crochet edging.

And the next pair is my newest ones. I worked on them for forever yesterday. Had to restart the rose 4 times because the instructions were a little hard to figure out at first. However, I think the results are great. I'm even making some pairs to put in a local shop!

Oh, did I forget to mention that they lace up in the back?

(My hair was wet when we were taking these)

And, I promised a thong so, here you go...

That is so clever! I love the red and black ones. And you are super brave to go down the road of crochet cotton so frequently. It hurts my hands so bad to use the stuff. But everything made with it is super pretty! GReat work! I bet you sell them quick!

Eliea: Actually, I have not sold a single pair yet. Sad Lots of people telling me how much they love them, no one willing to buy them, it would seem. At least, no one yet at the price I'm asking. The only thing I don't like about the thread is the impression it leaves in my fingers. I think I need to find some sort of leather strap to put around my pinkie and pointer finger or something so it will stop doing that.

Thanks for the comments!

Eliea: Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've been promoting, both on Etsy and off. I even went to a few of the "Goth" forums and posted the other day. Although right now I am working on 5 pairs of the lace-up gloves with the roses to take to a local shop and see if they'll do any better there. Hopefully things will pick up soon. I've only been on Etsy for a month, so it's probably just that I haven't been there long enough.

susankg and momkat: Thank you!

msfitts13: Those roses were such a pain the first time! I couldn't figure out the directions! LOL. But they turned out okay once I did. And yeah, I'm obsessed. Can't help it. Cheesy
