I started this at 8 o'clock last night and finished at 11:30 with a break for dinner. I attached fishing line at the end to use as earrings, but they can be used for anything, really. I've always wanted to do this, but never found the time to. DNA is such a handsome little molecule. Enough of my rambling, here it is!


The blue is the phospho-sugar backbone;the white, orange, pink and green are bases. I used 2 different shades of blue for the backbone.

Thank you for the tute! I love these! I had seen a pair for sale ages ago and bookmarked the site, but never bothered to figure out how to make them. Thank you for making my lazy procrastination worth the wait!

I might have to make a pair of these today to wear to school tomorrow...
