Swap name: Ongoing Offer What You Have (Crafts or Supplies) Swap

Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Miss Violaceous

Swap runs: April 1 through April 30

Details:
If you a) have crafts lying around that you've made
or  b) enjoy making things for other people
or  c) want to de-stash supplies
...then this swap is for you! To join you must have at least five things that you have made/would like to make/want to trade.

To join, first PM the organizer with your application. Once you are approved, you are free to claim something and post your list.

This is an ongoing swap: Claim an item from the list of the last person who posted, and post your own list in response. It makes a chain. When we get to the end of the month, the very last person to post a list will be the first person to post a list at the beginning of the next month.

Once someone claims from you, you have two weeks to get the package in the mail.

New swappers are allowed to have one claim outstanding at any time, Friend of Craftster's get 3 claims and everyone else gets 2 claims. A claim is "outstanding" from the time you post about it to the time your partner receives it.

Do not sign up unless you are willing to send outside of your country if necessary.

If the swap stalls (no one claims for several days while your list is up) you should add more items or consider combining smaller items into one package. Check out the first round and the second round and the third round and the fourth round if you need help figuring out the scope of what to put on your list. It was typically in the $5-$15 range, from a half a yard to a couple yards of fabric depending on weight and fanciness, crafted accessories, grab bags of yarn, beads, buttons and notions, things of that nature.

Swap Organizer meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES

Format:

I'm Miss Violaceous, and having been PM'd by the organizer to say I am approved I would like to claim rosali for a knitted cuff. This is my second claim. My list:
-A yard of pink corduroy fabric *add picture here*
-10 x zippers *add picture here*
-1/2 yd blue cotton puppy fabric and 1/2 yd yellow cotton puppy fabric *add picture here*
- 4 x batik FQs *add picture here*
- 2 skeins of green red heart yarn *add picture here*

Then the next person posts...

I'm the craftster admin (Leah) and having been PM'd by the organizer to say I am approved I would like to claim Miss Violaceous for 4 x batik FQs. This is my third claim. My list:
-A lined zippered makeup bag
-A fabric covered journal
-Set of 3 felt flower brooches
-Crochet hook/knitting needle roll-up
-Polymer clay pendant
Here are some photos of things I've made: *add links here*

Those of you who have followed my other swap postings know that I'm kind of a hardass about pictures and such, but this swap is a little different. It is important for you to thank your partner, be courteous and communicative, but a lot of the items are premade or stash, so pictures aren't crucial. However, DC numbers are mandatory for people in the U.S. sending to other people in the U.S., and everyone else must keep their receipts. I will be giving feedback in the following way:
-  good/poor communication:  where applicable
-  sent late: more than a week late
-  no dc number: failed to comply with the rule about using a delivery confirmation number for packages within your own country

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer Miss Violaceous by private message:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
-Name of swap:
-Craftster username:
-Email address:
-Your real name:
-Mailing address:
-Are you a Friend of Craftster or have you been a swap angel (with proof in profile)?:
-Your list of at least five items (crafts you can make/have readymade or details of supplies you wish to offer):

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

I was the last one from March, so here's my list.

- 4 handmade notecards (these are a pretty good representation of my work, but arent what you would necessarily receive)

- Yarn Grab Bag (not sure of yardage on these, but theres a good amount of yarn)

- 2 skeins of Moody Blue Yarn (84 yards each)

SMALLER ITEMS (CHOOSE ANY 3):

- Half-apron (Handmade, but not by me. Has 4 large pockets in front and a tie in back. Freshly-laundered, hence the wrinkles.)

- Christmas Stationary (can use in a printer)

- 4 Notepads

- Christmas Window Gels

- 2 Feather Boas (each about 6 long)

- Vest for recycled yarn (Im never going to get around to this I started it and was going to use it for a baby afghan. About 99% sure its acrylic yarn, baby pink, yellow and white colors are pretty true on my monitor.)

I'll claim to get things moving again! I'll take the funfur (and I wouldn't mind one of the balls of recycled yarn, I'm always curious to check out recycled yarn).

Choose any 2 patterns, they are just in 'sets' for ease of picture taking!

Set #1 McCall's 8334 Sizes (46,48) Extra Large and Simplicy 7469 Size A (XS-XL)

Set #2 Simplicyt 0515 Size RR (14,16,18,20) and Simplicty 9532 Size RR (14,16,18,20)

Set #3 Simplicity 5839 Size A (XS-XL) Simplicity 7183 Size RR (14,16,18,20)

Set #5 Simplicity 5359 Size RR (14,16,18,20) and McCalls 2854 (Children's)

And the last one for now Simplicity 9300 Size A (6-16)

12 sheets of animal print paper and 2 sheets of stickers, from the Discovery Channel (This is the LAST set of animal print paper and stickers)

12 red white and blue plastic "cause" bracelets.  I tried to bead them, and it worked out ok, but was too much effor for my laziness.  I'm sure someone else can come up with something neat to do with them.

One covered Altoids tin.  The lid comes completely off.

One brown stained glass covered bic pen.   Ink is replaceable.

Two yellow-gold sun barettes with rust colored highlights.

Polymer clay beads, choose a  set, a couple sets, or a few of each.  I have more than what is shown on anything marked with a *, so if you need more, just ask.  And I still haven't taken better pictures, I'm sorry.

One yellow-gold heart pin with rust colored highlights

face beads*

One Natasha bead

red/pink/purple coil wrapped beads*

purple/black/blue kaleidoscope beads*

earth toned oval bead*

red and purple kaleidoscope beads*

purple and blue flower beads, can be the same size or different sized, just ask*

Other random stuff!

Leavings Dolls & Leavings Doll Kit

I have a big box full of all kinds of bits of lace.  Quite a bit of it is vintage.  There are long pieces, short pieces, alot of white, but quite a bit in colors as well.  I'll happily add a big handful of lace to my list.  Just let me know what colors/widths you prefer.  This is just a sample of what is in there, there is lots more.

Four skeins of tapestry yarn

Around 10 identical valentines day cards.

10 small plastic 'goodie' bags with red and purple hearts on them.

A bunch of small plastic rings of varying sizes.

A bunch of small metal rings of varying sizes.

Plastic clips? of some kind.  I'm honestly not sure what these are for.

A kit to make a miniature (jewelry box sized) cabinet covered with Japanese paper.  I have two, choose one of them, one hastwo drawers, one has three drawers.  Pictures are below, the one with the patchwork looking paper has two drawers, the gold and black waves and the gold with flowers is three drawers.  Chose any one.

I don't have pictures, but I recently got a TON of knitting needles from my mom's house.  Single points, double points, and cingulars.  Mostly metal.  Mostly vintage.  Most are still in great condition.  Some are a little bent or wiggly, but still useable for collage or some other non-knitting use.  Lets say 3-4 pairs for a claim?  When you claim, PM me with sizes/types you want and I'll match as close as I can.

Combine any of these items with anything else on the list:

Doll sized gardening gloves.

Valentine's cards for sister & grandmother.  Take either or both.
