So glad you liked it Kibbi!  It was such fun to make.  I had never tried weaving paper before.  I kind of like the effect. A close-up...

mclianne,

The weaving was great and I also like the handle. The box was adorable.

Was it difficult to weave the paper? I once used weaving on a photo - a black/white and color of the same photo and wove them together. It was a neat technique but difficult as the pictures were not exactly the same size even though they came from the same negative.

What are the little pink things that are on the top of the flower?

I recieved from Lapoli and Amaryllisrose today, but I am far, far too sleepy to get out the camera tonight. Tomorrow, promise! I really like both of them, and I cannot wait to start sewing the new menagerie of buttons to things!

I just feel bad, because I just sent today (Easter foiled my plans, too many guests!) and then I get home and I already have packages!! Sorry, ladies. Sad

Great job lapoli!  I love that the card and bag were coordinating!  I forgot to send cards with mine Roll Eyes

Kibbi,
The weaving wasn't hard.  I like the idea of the same photo weaved color & B&W.  I'll have to try that sometime...

The little pink things are 3 little confetti/shimmery glitter flowers held together and to the flower with Stampin' Up's Crystal Effects.

Pics, as promised!

First, from Lapoli:

First thing I see is the adorable purple mousie - then when I'd emptied the box... cheese for the mouse!

And the contents:

Lots of buttons! I love love love buttons - and the two red square ones look handmade, which is extra super special. And the little owl! So cute!

EDIT - by the way, did you handwrite the note? Because your handwriting is, like, perfect!

And then from Amaryllisrose:

Beautiful box! She even painted the little inside-slidey box gold, too!

Edit #2 - the photo is a little blurry - but the box says "imagine."

The stamps are really neat - what country are they from? The flower-shaped rhinestones are really pretty - and I am going to make a necklace out of the fairy charm as soon as I am done posting this!

Thank you both ladies!
