Truly amazing, I am going to request a rim on freecycle and do my own version to replace the horrendous light in my kitchen!

my most painless and well behaved project so far is finally finished! I am so pleased. I was thinking of selling it, but it's a bit hazardous (with candles and fabric and straw so close together) and I don't want to cause a fire in someone elses home, so I think I'll just keep it and have some water at hand.

here's the sketch I made before starting...


and here's the real thing:

I found a way to make your AWSOME light totally fire proof. Flameless candles. I have some and they are AWSOME. they look like the real thing but run on battires. they are soo cool. they flicker just like a real candle but you can use them anywhere. here is the site if you are interested!
