hey all!

so i've been busy with too many wips at once...here are some things i've actually managed to finish...

a calorimetry for myself that i just finished because i was sooo excited about the yarn...i used the yarn that the pattern called for for a change (filatura di crosa 127 print)

here's the lake park hat in patagonia nature cotton which has been added to my favorite yarn list!  amazing softness!

close up on the really cool stitch work:

my friend asked me to make him 2 hats (one for spring/fall and one for winter) with the maze pattern...the one on the left is in cotton and one in wool blend on the right...

and finally...a calorimetry for my super fabulous roommate in malabrigo...on my favorite yarns...can't get enough!

whatcha think?

Great job!! I love that lake park hat! And wow, the patience you must have to have knitted those maze patterned hats! They're so intricate.

I like to do personal swaps now and again.

I knit, crochet, and make stitch markers.

Just pm me if you wanna swap. Smiley

I love them all! I especially love the yarn you used in the first calorimetry, and the mazes are beautifully done!

I tried the maze pattern last night on an earflap hat! I only did one repeat and am now regretting it seeing yours. Everything looks fabulous, great job!

they all look great, z!

i went to my lys today to get a circular and accidentally bought some malabrigo instead (velvet grape, is that what yours is?).  i've been scouring the internets all day looking for a pattern to show it off, and i totally forgot about the lake park hat, but i think i need to make that with (some of) it.  i guess this means i'll have to wait til the fall to enjoy all that merino-y goodness...boo hiss!
