the second FO in dollface & knittastic09's mini-knitalong series! joy, rapture!

i finished my fake isle from magknits just in time for the warm spring weather! oh well. my boyfriend said it looks like an acid trip hat, but i love it.

it's noro kureyon (i forget what colorway...it's the rainbow one, yanno) and patons classic merino. i took out about 10 rows of the second chart because it was getting to be way too long. it's still a big long for my liking, but i'll deal.

oh, and i can't make a straight face in a photo to save my life.

everytime i see this hat knitted up, i think they are sooooo pretty. too bad i hate to knit with wool. i'm one of the very few people who love to knit with acrylic

That does look cute -- I wouldn't go as far to say an acid trip, but something fun and happy would be a suitable description. Maybe I should make one of these too...
