I know there is a roving thread up top and I looked but didn't find this answer.  I am looking for some natural merino/tencel to handdye, anyone have a good supplier?  Thanks!

Ok, The Bon. That's beautiful, but I was under the impression that tencel can't be dyed with the dyes that will take with wool.. So what did you use? I don't want to go all mad-scientist in my kitchen..

I did use acid dyes. This fiber was not super vibrant, but I've dyed merino/tencel where the fiber was super vibrant. I also have some merino/tencel blend from paradise fibers from the "rhapsodies" line that says all of the fibers are dyed with acid dyes and those colors are pretty vibrant too. So, I don't know. I know that you're right and acid dyes aren't supposed to dye tencel, but they do at least stain it really nicely.
