Hi there! I am pretty new to the boards here and wanted to share a project I made with my son yesterday. I got some plastic speckled eggs at the dollar store and strung them with some star beads I have to make a simple garland. It turned out really cute and was one of the easiest projects I have ever made.

this is really cute. How did you put the holes in the eggs?

They had holes in them already. I made that garland for a swap that I am doing. I plan on doing one for myself using raffia instead of yarn and see how that turns out.

I got the eggs at the dollar store and all of the styles they carried had holes in the top and bottom. If you had some for somewhere else, you could probably open each half of the egg and drive a nail through each end to make the holes.

I am going to make sure and write this one down immediatly.

I was off to save the world....until I was distracted by something shiny.
