I just made these earrings, what do you think?

I'm excited about all the variations that can be done with this, this here is my first try.

Beautiful! I'm a big fan of knitted/crochet web earrings. I just bought a pair off etsy too.

well i found these hoop things that have 2 little loops in the top (i'll post a pic later) ... although you could do this with any hoop, really...

i first crocheted around the edge of the hoop using crochet thread and a very tiny hook. on page three of this thread it shows you how: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82435.msg775964#msg775964

then, using a regular sewing needle, i just threaded through the crocheted part back and forth making a pattern.  i began and ended all the colors in the same spot at the top.

finally, i used some superglue to secure the loose ends of the thread at the top (twisting it around)

sorry if that doesn't make any sense... i can try to do better later when i have my camera.

I really like those.  I like how the string is wrapped around the top to kind of hide the findings.
