My latest project!  Just finished it up this evening (after three fairly grueling afternoons and evenings with it) but I love love LOVE it!  It's my Halloween/Goth Concert/Pirate blouse!

I used New Look pattern 6647, view D.  I fell in love with the fabric at JoAnn's, and it was on sale that day, so a couple yards came home with me.  Oh, and the buttons were actually little charms on pony tail holders that I bought at the dollar store.  It took a little modification to get them to be buttons, but I couldn't resist.

Completed blouse.

Kinda side view.  I have no head.

Puffy sleeve - bias tape neck edging.

Close up of buttons!  I have two skulls, two hearts, and two roses that say "Love" under them.  The mad zig-zagging was due to me ripping through the facing at the bottom edge while trying to open a buttonhole.  I ended up doing "detail" work so the huge gash wouldn't show.  You can hardly see it now.

Avast, ye mateys!

Thanks for looking!

LOVE IT!! Was the pattern hard? I would love to find a few easyish blouse patterns to make up in all those crazy cool prints.

Wonderful! I too am in love with that fabric! It's so pretty and looks great on you!

That is SO CUTE! The pattern itself is cute, but the fabric with the pattern makes it even cuter.
