So I just got an account here and I've been cruising around looking for something fun to do for my sister's birthday.  I came across bead melting and it's officially my new favorite pastime.  I know this isn't the most exciting thing in the world, but I think it's pretty cool.  Let me know what you think. Grin

This is my first post, I hope I'm doing this right.

That is cool, what kind of beads did you use?  I have a ton of beads  odds and ends left over, not enough to make anything with, but I could do a bowl... Grin

I used translucent pony beads that I got in a big bargain bag at a craft store.  Any plastic beads will work though.  It's so much fun.  I've since made two matching tea-light holders to go with the gift.  I'll post pictures of those too.

Looks great!!!  I've yet to try a bowl, but I've made little sun catchers with Metal cookie cutters.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.
