OK, I claim Kristen81 for fabric. Smiley

This is my first claim, 0 sent, 0 received.

Here be my list:

*A knee-length A-line or wrap skirt in a fun retro print. Machine washable, please. I can PM you my measurements.

*Something wearable with Hello Kitty on it, preferably in the vein of the HK stuff at Hot Topic or Tarina Tarantino’s Pink Head collection.

*Something wearable and fun related to Doctor Who (Ninth or Tenth Doctor era - no Fourth Doctor scarves, please Smiley ).

*Some kind of shirt with a Union Jack on it. I wear a large, or extra large if it’s snug and stretchy.

*A microscope slide necklace featuring a vintage cowgirl, pinup girl, or some sort of tattoo art (leaning more towards the hearts and flowers and swallows and cherries end of the spectrum and less towards the “man’s ruin” and snakes and skulls end).

*A hoodie embroidered, stenciled, silkscreened, etc. with any designs/motifs listed above. Can be a T-shirt or sweatshirt, short-sleeved or long (or ¾ sleeve, for that matter), and recons would be supercool.

*A newsboy hat in black or some tweedy (non-wool) fabric. I apparently have a big head, and lots of standard-sized hats don’t fit me, so I will probably need to PM you with the measurement.

*Cute, machine-washable cloth headbands.

*A black crocheted snood.

*Any ATCs you see fit to send me.

*A case for my circular knitting needles.

*Supplies for doing altered books and ATCs: papers, rubber stamps, ephemera, ink pads, cool pens, gel medium, etc.

*If you happen to be in the UK, pretty much any junk food is good (cheese and onion crisps… jaffa cakes… Whole Nut bars… *droooooool*).

*Funky flavors of Pocky. All I can find around here is chocolate and strawberry.

This is my first wish this round and I'm in England.  Grin

My Wish list

Ethical & Allergies - I’m a vegetarian, so no animal products please (wool's okay, but leather, fur, suede or gelatine aren't!) I’m also allergic to nickel and artificial perfumes.

Jewellery
I would love a LOTR inspired Elven head-dress like the ones Arwen or Galadriel wear! (Okay, I can hope, can’t I?) Or any sort of Elven inspired jewellery?
(I’m allergic to Nickel though!)

I adore this lotus necklace
http://beadwork.about.com/library/weekly/aa090899.htm

Knitted and Crocheted
My babies would love you forever if you made them a kitty pi!
http://theknittinggarden.com/gallery-march/mar-free-3.htm

Arigurumis – I would absolutely LOVE a Captain Jack Arigurumi!! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=104545.0
*sigh* If I can’t get Johnny Depp into my bed, I’ll make do with Jack Sparrow!!

Or a dragon?

A fiber necklace like the ones from Enchanted earth! http://www.jade.enthuzed.net/11.htm
I love ‘Truffles’ and ‘Autumn Leaf’, actually, I love ‘em all!!

Sewn
A pair of patchwork cushion cases in purple please.

A kimono hoodie – This one’s pretty cool!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=138494.new#new

A black wrap dress.

A long hippy skirt!

Some washable cloth pads, with maybe a travel purse with dirty/clean compartments please? (I gave up buying disposable pads and tampons last year and I’ve never looked back. My body feels so much healthier!)

Fabric hair bands – with elastic at the bottom

PJ or yoga pants

A hair towel with maybe an ocean-themed motif on it (I have long hair – halfway down my back!) My bathroom is green

Artwork
I’d love a piece of Celtic artwork in purple for my living room wall. I don’t mind whether it’s a wall hanging or a picture!

A new swap journal – mine is about full!

A CD with vintage images on for crafting

Something for my garden? If it tinkles, twirls or makes a noise, that would be great! I live on top of a hill so there is always a breeze in my garden. It would need to stand up to the English weather though! Or some kind of artwork, or sculpture? I have a sort of enchanted garden theme going on – mushrooms, fairies, wind chimes, wind-dancers and sun catchers – that sort of thing  Cheesy

DIY Kits –
Teach me something new, I love to learn new stuff!

Needle felting…I’ve tried wet felting, but never needle felting! I’d love to have a go!

Resin casting…I’ve never tried it and would love to! I can’t get the stuff round here! I’d love to make some bottle-cap jewellery – thanks to the BF I have lots of bottle-caps!

Lino cutting or a stamp carving kit.

Sock knitting.

A book-binding kit.

Supplies
I’m planning to make a Rapunzel scarf, so any gorgeous scraps of yarn, trimmings, ribbons or anything else I can put in would be appreciated! They must be at least 10 ft long please and preferably purple, pinks, turquoises or emerald tones! Glittery stuff is welcome too  Wink

Nickel-free or low-nickel coloured wire, preferable gauge 20 or higher (thicker stuff please) I can only get gold or silver-tone wire in my town!

Japanese craft books or magazines.

Something for my belly-dancing – I have a sort of gothic costume that I’m working on at the moment (black and silver) – how about helping me?  Grin

Anything from/inspired by my wists http://www.wists.com/Samsara

About me

I’m a 38, I’m an art and pottery teacher, and I live in the UK with my BF, 3 cats and a german shepherd dog. I’m basically a hippy-gothy chick, my favourite colours are purple, black, turquoise and emerald green, although any strong colours are also cool especially rainbows (I don’t like pastels and I can’t wear yellows, or yellow based browns or oranges as they really don’t suit me!) Also I'm not keen on floral fabrics, unless they're oriental or hippy, or if they’re appliquéd onto something else – I’m really into appliqué at the moment! I love batiks, Indian fabrics and tie dyes. I enjoy yoga, reading and crafting, particularly new crafts! Favourite themes are cats, dragons, peacocks, nature, trees, stars, Ohms, lotus’, tribal style designs, anything Celtic, Art-Nouveau or Zetti, sci-fi and fantasy books and films.

I’ve included my Wists, but don’t feel obliged to produce exact copies, they’re more a general guideline of what I like or would like!
Here’s some extra information about me if you want! http://samsarasswapinfo.blogspot.com/

Thanks in advance for choosing me!!
