This is my greatest beading achievment!!  The pattern I made myself.  I used half x stitch with seed beads on bead plastic canvas.  The canvas bag was found at the craft store.

6,300 seed beads (yes more than half nuts)

A close up, can you see the water ripple?  I "framed" it with gold seed beads, oops forgot to count them, and do not plan on it lol.
The edges of front is done with RAW stitch with size E beads.  IMPOSSIBLE to count!!!  Lets just say a MILLION beads.

Back of purse has ripple pattern, keeping with the theme.  And yes I had to reach thru that zipper opening to connect front.

Close up. May need to add something to that zipper pull?   See the strap, it needs something, any suggestions??  It is already pretty darn heavy, so I was thinking of fun fur winding around it, what do you think???   HELP!!!

Edit with finished strap.  This strap is wrapped with eye lash fiber, and can be changed easy enough if I change my mind.  But so far I think I like it.   Smiley  What do you think??  You can be honest!

What about some chinese knotting in silk fibers for the strap?? Perhaps echoing the blues and the golds?
