I am really new to sewing. In fact this is the first thing I have actually completed (in my adult years). I took an old dress and turned it into a simple drawstring skirt. I am really happy with the results and it took me all of 15 minutes! This is major to me as I am a knitter/crocheter by trade and 15 minute projects NEVER happen! I hope you like it!

I'm so glad you all like it! I am going to make sure to take before pictures from now on. I actually love the fabric and I own nothing like it. I am an earth tone kind of girl. I hope I catch on to sewing. I really enjoy it, but I am horrible at trying to make things from patterns!

Thanks again for looking! Smiley

thanks! I never would have worn the 'before' dress. My mom had a big pile of old clothes she was taking to Goodwill and I got to root through it first!
