Or I don't know what to call this, except my most favoritest of my favorite things that I have made.  Which is why I've seriously overdosed on the photo taking (but what else is there to do while waiting for the bus?)

Looks wonky on the bottom sides but its actually not

The shell is suiting fabric and the lining is a polycotton print (guitars and yellow flowers).  I thought the contrast between the serious fabric and the fun lining would be fun for my little urban big kid.

Trying to iron seams on hoods  Tongue  I finally rolled a towel up into a ball and wrapped it inside the hood.

on the bus,

and my tragedy

GASP!  That is a little snip in the hood I accidently made while cutting threads.  I patched it up with a little square of fabric and some no sew ultra bond (you really can't see it) but I'm still pretty mad at myself for not being more careful.

I welcome comments (and you can yell at me for too many photos too, because, I know I know, there are!)

I love it, monkey looks like a little British kid...off to school now mummy. Really great job (again!). It's between this and CuteOverload.com Smiley

Ok, that's fantasmic. I want one! And I know what you mean about being mad at yourself, I snipped a hole in my fibers project and was SO mad at myself!  Roll Eyes

So cute! I love the contrast between the fabrics. I've snipped holes in things too, it's very frustrating. But the coat still looks perfect!
