see norwalk is close enough to stamford where all the other craft groups are...i was trying to make this more for those of us stuck between stamford and new haven where the other groups are just a bit too far away...i was thinking fairfield/bridgeport for this one. ive gotten a few emails and most of the people are grouped in milford, stratford and bpt.

Hmm, good point.  I could be talked into Fairfield or Bridgeport.

I did some googling and just discovered the Stamford SnB group, which turns out to be very convenient for me, so I'm looking into that... but that doesn't mean I'm saying no to you.  You can never get too much crafting time. Smiley

If you get something going in Fairfield I could come up to some of the meetings at least.

I think that there is a knitting group at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield (I believe that they are called the Knit Wits) - will find out more.

Hello- I'm up in the Hartford area, but I just wanted to say hi, and I hope that you find a group of people in your area. I'm pretty sure I'm all alone up here when it comes to crafting. Smiley

There are crafty groups all over Connecticut (including Hartford). I post links to all the ones I know about on the front page of the Stitch 'n Bitch New Haven Yahoo Group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SnB_NewHaven.

So basically I feel like CT doesn't host many craft fairs that support the young and emerging indie crafters/designers. So finally, YOUR opportunity is here!!!

I have just booked a Valentine Craft fair on February 9th at The Space in Hamden, CT from 12p-5p.

I'm looking for other DIYers from all mediums. There will be more details to come in the next few days, but let me know soon if you are interested, as there are only so many slots available!!!

If you are interested in participating you can send me an email at becky@theviciouskitty.com with:

1. Contact info (email or phone, etc.)
2. Link to website or company name (tell me what you make!)
3. Any questions or comments!

I really wish we had known about this sooner!! I would have loved to do it. It's just not enough time for me to prepare. I'm bummed.
