I have this freind, emma, who's turing 13 (the big 1 3) on the fifteenth i got her a few cute things but i want to crochet her something too. She is very athletic and extremely into basketball she's not really a tomboy but is definately not a girly girl she has two cats  she is obsessed with pickles, hearts of palm, and coffee and I need to make something that is really cool but won't take me too long to make b/c i have like crocheters ADD i can't concentrate on one project for a long period of time it's also hard for me to do solid crochet (like if i'm making a bag i'd rather have a tapestry or pattern on it ) I was thinking maybe i'd make her a cute pillow but i don't know Does anyone have any ideas on what i should make???

you can complain because roses have thorns or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.

You can't be on TOP if all you do is sit on your BOTTOM

Hey, I changed your title so its more descriptive. Try looking around on the completed projects board for inspiration. We dont know your friend as well as you do, so thats a good way to get ideas - because if you dont know what to do, its certainly going to be hard for us to decide! Grin

If she is a coffee drinker than you can make her some fingerless gloves. I love to have these on when it is cold (not that it is here that much) and drink my coffee it really warms up your hands and the heat stays longer. Smiley

They are also great when in a few years you girls are driving. I hate to touch the wheel when it is cold!

I was going to suggest that! Add a cute face and you've got amigurumi.
