here's the stuff I got from leah!  she apologised for not sending more (the creating time for the swap was so short and she's so busy with Magpie!) but I thought it was totally enough!

here's some of the stuff in the nifty little recycled container to hold it all during shipping.

an altered altoids tin and some yarn pom pon bobby pins (the color is more accurate in the first picture).

crocheted pasties!  leah, I never knew you crocheted!  I'd would never think of crocheting pasties but it really is an interesting idea...  they mold to your body perfectly!

here's a really cute pencil/pen holder plus some decorated pens to go with it.  I always need more pens since I'm in college.  Smiley

my favorite thing is these earrings!  aren't they beautiful?  I love how sparkley they are!  leah, how did you know that I've been thinking about finally getting my ears pierced?  they're perfect and I'll be sure to wear them as soon as I can.  Cheesy

thanks, leah!

I totally forgot Leah was in this swap!!  I like the pencil holder--is it from the book?  The pom poms also look familiar--

maybe they were from her book?  I hadn't thought about it, they seemed familiar to me too.  I'll have to go check...

I got my package from taloola.  Here is what she sent me.Everything crammed into one tyvek overnighter:

Garden plaque, crochet circles, notecards, necklace and t-shirt:

Since this was a fast swap, taloola did not get a chance to finish making the placemat(?), but she did manage to get six done and sent me the extra yarn to join them together. Don't forget to send me the instructions or else I can just wing it! It sure is bright yellow and the picture does not do it justice!

Four hand done notecards using her avatar pic I liked--only she was afraid of copyright violation so she modified it a bit.  These are funny. They say "Guess what...turkey butt"...

Garden plaque--don't worry, I can mod podge it -- ha ha --who had time to let stuff dry with such a short send date!! It is very country and I will find a place for somewhere on my two acres... Cheesy

A cool keyboard key necklace...I am sorry that you lost the "i"--and at least people still know it is my name.

Finally, we were all talking about the 80's--so she puff painted me a work out shirt--and included the shoulder pads!! ha ha  It is huge but I can use it to work out at home! How old did you say the paint was?  It sort of ran a little--so maybe it didn't have time to dry..

Thanks taloola--this was fun and such cute ideas!
